Dear All
In Last March, I have passed the PMP exam and earned the certification.
My colleagues in work asked me to conduct 35hour training course to teach them PMP.
My question can 35 contact hours through non-ATP can be counted to be eligible to enter PMP exam or not? Saving Changes...

Usually it has to be an ATP/REP or college-level course.
By the way, you cannot teach anyone PMP. You can, however, teach them project management. Saving Changes...

You can conduct a PMP training but when the candidates submit their hours for approval, they might get audited and PMI might end up rejecting the hours. Saving Changes...
It's adequate to find an ATP Project Management Education Provider because this certifies the 35-hour education will be approved by PMI. Saving Changes...
An ATP is NO measure of quality of instruction. There are many good training companies who have elected not to become ATPs given the excessive costs charged by PMI and low quality courseware (relative to other well established products).
And while an application might get audited, so long as the 35 hours are substantiated via a formal course where there was a proper agenda, proof of completion and so on, the audit shouldn't be a concern.

If that's the case, why won't PMI accept 35 hours of projectmanagement.com webinars?

Stephane -
Self-learning methods such as reading a book or watching videos doesn't count. It has to be a true course - either live or on-demand.
Many non-ATPs have high quality products - Velociteach's prep course is just one of those which we deliver and our candidates have never encountered issues with their application audits.

Dear all, I found this in Examination outline 2021 Page 13
You can satisfy the education requirements by demonstrating the successful completion of courses, workshops and training sessions offered by one or more of the following types of education providers:
A. PMI Authorized Training Partners (ATPs)
B. PMI chapters *
C. Employer/company-sponsored programs
D. Training companies or consultants (e.g., training schools)
E. Distance-learning companies, including an end-of-course assessment
F. University/college academic and continuing education programs
Accordingly based on point D&E I think non ATP can conduct PMP prep course Saving Changes...
