PMBOK 6 or PMBOK 7 for PMP Exam in July '22

Should I be studying PMBOK 6 or PMBOK 7 for an exam I'll be taking in July? I'll also be studying the Agile Practice Guide. PMBOK 6 is much larger than PMBOK 7, so would appreciate any advice.

It appears any newly developed questions will come from PMBOK 7, so I'm wondering if current questions will come from PMBOK 6:

A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) – Seventh Edition will now be a reference to inform the development of the exam items. However, before any validated exam item is added to the exam, there is a very rigorous and thorough review and field test cycle. This process takes multiple months.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The Sixth Edition is still one of the key references for the exam, and most self-study guides and prep courses will still have lots of content relating back to Sixth Edition material.

As the note indicated, Seventh Edition-based questions will slowly be added into the exam item pool but it won't be a dramatic cutover the way it was with previous PMBOK Guide updates which resulted from an actual change to the process framework (e.g. new knowledge areas, processes or changes to the ITTO's).
