If it is related to PMI then you can find a lot in the PMI website related to construction. But perhaps you know that.

construction involves a lot of interesting topics that are not so prominent in other areas of PM, like

- (sub)contracting
- logistics/supply chain
- safety/health
- materials/machinery
- digitalisation by BIM

Topic :" Emerging Trends and the Transformation potential of Technology in the Construction Industry";
A great topic because the Construction Industry/Engineering represent 13% of GDP. However, Construction Industry has only grown 1% in productivity, over the past decade.
Technology Trends:
1-Technology enablers-Big Data, Digital Twins, IOT, Mobile and Cloud Computing,
2-Digital Solutions-AI/ML, BIM, Blockchain, Robotic Process, GIS, RFID, Low-Code/No-Code platform
3-On Site Execution-Robotics, Augmented Reality, Drones, #d Printing, Wearables

Construction projects are very complex in terms of stakeholders when you consider the Owner which can be made up of users and deliverers of the project including procurement departments, project management departments, subject matter experts, security personnel, senior management overview, etc. Then you have the design consultants (architects, engineers), construction managers, general contractors, trade contractors, suppliers, material handlers, etc. Each of these have project management teams including cost and time managers, quality control, risk managers, senior management overviews as well as the front line workers. The application and integration of modern Information Technology (IT) is a challenge. Ultimately the labourer on the wheelbarrow is as critical as the Vice President of operations. He/she has to be at the right place, at the right time with the right quantity of the right material.
