Hello PMI Community!
I have my PMP and have been working as a PM more than 10 years now. I've been thinking a lot about my career lately and have realized that my favorite part of the work is the requirements gathering and analysis. I also have many years of database experience, so I've been thinking about shifting to more of a Business Analyst position in my next role.
I'm looking for someone to help me write a BA-focused resume based on my PM and programming experience. Does anyone here have a recommendation? I'm not sure a standard resume writer would be able to help.
If this is not the correct forum for this question, please point me in the right direction. This question didn't seem to fit into any of the categories.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Find job descriptions (indeed, glassdoor, dice, etc...) for BA positions you're interested in and then rewrite your resume to reflect your skills and experience that align with the job descriptions.

Yes, Mr. Porter, you "has the keys" for the shortcuts. Very good advice. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jeannie,
BA is a starting role in the IT industry usually. Given your experience and position, my suggestion is to revert one step back to Project manager position than a BA. You can write a resume focusing your BA skills as strengths. (Requirements keep changing and is like a moving target. How you track this and get things right can be explained as your strength.) Outside of that programming is your core skill again. Please do hire a professional resume writer on LinkedIn and talk about your experiences focusing on your strengths and what you can offer to the industry. As you gain more experience in the industry, being multifaceted and having more than core skills (including soft skills) is highly valued in the industry from what I know.. Saving Changes...
