I am new to project management with minimal classes under my belt. I have been recently tasked at work with a massive project and would like to get some tips and feedback on some PM and WBS software to streamline projects. Any advise? Please and thank you!

I like Smartsheet. It's easy to custom build systems and share information and they have plenty of free training on their software (https://help.smartsheet.com/?source=apphelpicon) as well as a great wealth of community chats if you have a problem google it. I found there was always someone else who asked and they probably had the solution in the chat.

Project Management Software should be according to the Project Management approach.
*For cascade approach: MS Project, Smartsheet
*Agile approach: Trello, Monday.com, Jira
*Hybrid approach: Smartsheet

WBS may be managed with VMS Visio, installing a special WBS Add-in.

If you are managing a large project with minimal experience, tools won't be the solution. Your focus should be on the people: the clients, the sponsor, the affected parties, the project team members. Spend time with them understanding their needs, their wants and their pain points. Then work at helping them achieve their goals. That will go a long way to a successful project.
