I am looking to take my CAPM within the next 6 months. With the format overhaul of PMBOK, I was wondering if the most recent exam questions seek to capture the changed structure or still reflect the process group structure.
I simply do not know the level of impact the changes have on the current CAPM exam. Any informed recommendations are welcome.
I am aware that the PMP (and I assume CAPM) is not solely based on PMBOK. Thanks in advance. Saving Changes...

I believe the current exam still heavily reflects the PMBOK 6th Edition so you should be good for your CAPM but as you said, it is not the only resource.
Another great and supplementary resource I would recommend is the Rita Mulcahy CAPM Exam Prep Book. Good Luck!

Thanks Rami - so in your opinion, studying PMBOK 6/Rita's book and taking CAPM exam this year, will my knowledge be "outdated" from a practical sense considering PMBOK 7 overhaul?
Hi Sam,
Personally, when I passed my CAPM earlier this year, I just used a CAPM prep course online. It covered exam specific material, and I found it a great way to get the 23 hours required. I then briefly read over the PMBoK to make sure I was confident with the material. As far as I can tell, the changes aren’t coming in until early 2023, so
you might be best trying to pass before then.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
Beat of luck!
Cian.

Thank you to each and everyone of your responses - just an update, I have a very clear understanding of how to move forward and am taking the advice you all gave here. With further research I saw that taking it by the end of the year is indeed the way to go. I'm excited and ready to get this milestone achieved!
