How to effectively calculate annual salary for project manager II in Delaware County, PA, manufacturing area, professionally certified PM, 42 hours a week.

There are different online platforms that does that - For example in Canada, there is PayScale … I would say they are 80% accurate.

Be aware that the title project manager II is meaningless outside your organization so don't compare apples to oranges. Not all employers have the same concept of what a PM does, nor do they have the same level structure for seniority levels.

In my 1st job, level 2 meant about 2 years of total experience post-college, level 3 at about 5 years, etc. Someone with a PMP would need more experience than 2 years experience running projects just to qualify for the cert.

To balance off salary survey data, I'd also suggest checking a few large job boards to see what the going rates are for such roles. Remember that salary surveys are usually looking in the rear view mirror whereas job boards reflect current value on talent.
