Hi guys, I am frustrated trying to get my team to be accountable for really important tasks. I am not sure what tool to use that is simple for everyone to understand and has a calendar component, and has notifications to keep people accountable for what they need to do to meet the deadline. I am using Trello currently and I am not familiar enough with that tool to be able to do what I described above. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

I agree with everybody’s response. How about doing a Gemba walk? Observe and listen to what’s happening, and get input? Thanks.
I like this idea of the Gemba Arlene!

The Gemba Walk concept is harder to achieve when the project team/stakeholders are dispersed especially in the last couple years with "working away from office or at home" model has been in play. Skilful use of phone and Skype (or similar) is required to draw people out and get to the underlying cause.

Is not about using a tool. Is about doing feel people that they will be "more rich" with the solution than without it, where rich do not mean more money only. In my personal experience stakeholder management is a must. And stakeholders include the team members.

I'm with Sergio on this one: this is not a tool problem, it's a people problem. Help your people fix the problem: listen, support, encourage, roll up your sleeves.
