For anyone that recently passed the PMI-ACP exam, can you please share what books, practice exams and/or training institute you went to? Any additional tips that you can share on passing the exam will be very much appreciated. Thank you. Saving Changes...
Congrats Aaron :). Truly what a feat! I hope to be there as well soon.
I bought the PMI ACP exam prep by Mike Griffiths second edition .
Along with the PMI Agile practice guide
I noticed majority of the questions were “scenario based” when I took the exam last year and did not pass . Are the simulations exams updated to reflect the same ?
I'll check the Bagnall and Scordo book, tonight, and let you know about the questions.
The Udemy classes contained good content, but the practice questions were more of a test of knowledge of the course, not really exam prep, in my opinion. Saving Changes...

The Bagnall and Scordo book has over 1000 practice questions broken into knowledge areas. They are more in line with the exam, and the answers and rationale are provided at the end of each section. Saving Changes...

Andy Crowe (Velociteach) The PMI-ACP Exam and the PMI Agile Practice Guide (APG) are the resources I would recommend the most. I also personally took the corresponding Velociteach class. Also while brief, make sure you really understand the Agile Manifesto.
PMI-ACP Exam Prep by Mike Griffiths could also be helpful, but I personally found Crowe's to be better.
Please note real world experience is more valuable on the PMI-ACP, than the PMP and CAPM which currently are more PMBOK centric. Saving Changes...
Thank you Abokfazol but there are 10 books suggested and that is virtually impossible to read and get through with a full time job. Appreciate the feedback.
Hi Alina,
I just finished the PMI examp prep course given by Matt Thompson at Driven Leadership Solutions. We did go off of the PMI Authorized PMP Exam Prep text. I learned quite a bit about test taking strategies and things to watch out for. It's a 6-week course, 2x/week. It sounds like a long time but there is so much information to go over. I feel like it was totally worth it. (Still working on the app so I can take the test ASAP before all the learning leaves my noggin.)
**Side note: I see I'm a little late to this party. If you haven't already sought out help, this program came highly recommended by my local PMI chapter. Saving Changes...

Does your work provide you access to Skillsoft/Percipio by any chance? They seem to be removing all the PMP training and leaving up the Agile and CAPM training on there. I started doing some of the mock exams for the ACP to assist with my PMP (wanted to learn a bit more Agile, may go for the certification later), and found they were heavily scenario based. Hello,
I passed the ACP earlier this year. As others mentioned, I used Mike Griffiths's book. I also use the Agile PrepCast e-course with the exam simulator. The exam simulator questions in my opinion were close to the questions on the real exam. For each question, you have an explanation of the rationale for the answer. You can also get feedback from moderators if you have difficulty or need more information. And the simulation are timed, so puts you in a more realistic situation.
The e-course covered the syllabus as well. I had previously done the DASSM e-course and passed that exam earlier this year. So I was in an agile mindset/space. Maybe all that added to good preparation.
Did the e-course, read the book twice, read the agile practice guide once, and did the 4 exam simulations. Important during the preparation to go through all the exam results good and bad to understand why you got the answer either right or wrong.
Hope this is helpful for your preparation. Regards, CT Saving Changes...
