We are are writing to express our desire for an option to purchase a high-quality, legitimate printed PMP certificate. As a Project Manager working at the White House, I take great pride in my professional achievements, and having a well-printed certificate with a gold seal would be a significant addition to my office décor, both at work and at home.
The effort and dedication required to study for and pass the PMP exam are considerable, and I believe that the option to obtain a professionally printed certificate would be a fitting acknowledgment of this accomplishment. A poorly printed certificate does not adequately reflect the prestige and hard work associated with obtaining the PMP certification.
I kindly request that this option be made available to all certified professionals, allowing us to celebrate our achievements Saving Changes...

We understand the desire for a hard copy of your certificate. In order to modernize and support our commitment to the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC’s) Sustainable Development Goals, we will no longer provide hard copies of PMI Certifications. All candidates who pass a PMI exam receive a digital badge through Credly, which can be shared on social media and verified by employers. This digital badge both protects the integrity of your certification and reduces your carbon footprint.
If you wish to have your certification printed, please log in to your “MyPMI” account, navigate to your “Dashboard” and click on “View Certificate” to download a printable PDF copy of your certificate.

I agree with most in this thread that there should be an option. It would seem like a "win win" if for any certification from PMI there were an option to purchase a physical certificate with the seal and proceeds from that purchase go toward environmental endeavors to reduce the effects of climate change. Many of us still work in some old school environments where people do take notice of what is hanging on the wall.
Tamara, please let us know if you navigate a successful outcome and what steps we can take. Saving Changes...
"I am unsure why this decision is limited to certain countries. Could PMI reconsider this? While addressing climate change is important, it shouldn't be the sole reason for this decision. I'm confident that who made this decision, have their certificates displayed proudly in their wall. I, along with other candidates, request the PMI team to reconsider and provide an option for those who need an original certificate issued by PMI. Thank you!" Saving Changes...

An official hard copy from PMI is better than printing out the PDF. It formally recognizes the achievement. Saving Changes...

Some countries require original printed certificates. I agree with the decision not to send printed copies, but there should be an exception where you can order them as needed.
Please try going to a government institution and telling them to "Scan your badge" They told me this is not snapchat or tiktok Saving Changes...
