I have renewed the PMP certificate but official said it is unable to ship out new hardcopy anymore.

Would PMI reconsider to ship out new certificates for candidates?

I have put much cost but it turns out their policy is directed to be environmently friendly.

It seems not to be friendly for exam takers.

Just a piece of paper of achievement.

Quite disappointing.

I used the WhatsApp chat, they said they do not offer any hard copies, no exception.

While I'm all for eliminating hard copy printing by default, I would propose that PMI can leave an option for candidates to request for a hardcopy with the PMI seal and demand appropriate fees. That could be an option to consider if free issuance for the request is not acceptable. I'd appreciate a quick decision by PMI.

It's 4 months since I renewed my PMP certification. Was wondering if my certificate got lost in trasit or what, and today I stumbled upon this page. Would have loved to receive printed certificate with new PMI logo, as last certificate I received in 2019 had old logo.

I also concur with the idea that there should be some way for PMI certification holders to obtain an official copy of their certification from PMI.

We spend a ton of money on exam fees, annual memberships, e-learnings, etcetera, and for there not to be at least a way to purchase a copy is extremely disappointing. I can understand to an extent the notion of environmental sustainability efforts, but if we can pay for the official copy, maybe a part of that fee can go towards planting trees or something that offsets the environmental impact.

I think everyone agrees they would like to at least have the option to purchase an official hard copy of the certification.. PMI could benefit exponentially by allowing this as an option to purchase.
