PMO et Dynamic Project Managers

Eugene Jacquescoley DO PhD MPH Managing Partner | Eugene Jacquescoley Et Al Ptr Pa, United States

It has been my experience over the past 20 years. That PMO offices are controlled management environments. How does the idea of dynamic leadership embrace a PMO office that is often rigid with respect to a organization's culture? I believe there is conflict in this approach with pmo offices. What is your consensus?

Everything--people, teams, organizations--are all either in a stable state or transitioning towards one. It's hard to align everyone and everything to be at the same state at the same time.

Nowadays everything is dynamic, and the organizations foster according to their adaptation to change, so, rigid PMO isn't an adequate consideration.

It depends on the PMO's mandate and leadership. "Modern" PMOs are leading change in their organizations, not being the hurdles to implementing change.
