I am a young man heavily looking to becoming a project manager before I make a big decision I would love to talk to some of you with real work experience. If the people willing to talk to me, it would be greatly appreciated I just have some questions regarding what it is like to go down this path.
are you a PMI member? If so, you might want to attend a local PMI chapter event in person near you in California as I think you'd get a lot more value out of a face-to-face discussion with a few practitioners.

I totally agree with Kiron. I find this approach to be more valuable and beneficial especially for those who want to venture into the PM World. Saving Changes...

Talking to PM may help but,
The only way to know, if PM fits your role is just take up a project - Be it small or big & try to execute along with all stakeholders.
Managing resources, different stakeholders & bringing all into one goal is the real task & fun too !
If you enjoy it - You are a good PM :) Saving Changes...
