You Know It's Going to be a Bad Day When...

Usually, just having to get up is already a bad sign...

Seriously now, I can think of two things that have "bad day" written all over them:
- checking my schedule in the morning and seeing I have nothing but meetings all day long
- checking my schedule in the morning and seeing I have absolutely no meetings at all

The REPEATED QUESTION...

I can only give the same answer, perhaps using different words if you are lucky. As I speak the truth, I cannot change it. Deal with it, and lets find another solution.

I have experienced the repeated question in several organisations. The character just has a different face. BUT don't let it get you down, explain that you are busy trying to create a different reality and the more times the question is asked the less time is available to change the answer.

When I emerge from the underground on the way to work and my BlackBerry buzzes with all the messages that I couldn't receive while I was in transit - before I get to my desk.

I also agree with Julien: meetings all day is just awful.

If meetings all day is awful, then attending meetings that you don't even have a clue why you were required to attend is a total waste of time.
