I will kick start this. On a professional level, so far I achieved the following:

- Completed a few PMI Courses and Micro-Credentials related to construction which were very valuable.

- Completed Value Stream Management Micro-Credential and course offered by PMI.

- Earned the PMO Certified Consultant (PMO-CC) credential by PMO Global Alliance.

- Participated in a few expert panels and podcasts.

- Published Couple of Articles.

- Named by the LeadersHum as one the TOP 50 Global Project Management Leaders.

- Participated as a Judge in the 2022 PMO Global Awards.

- Participated in few volunteering opportunities with different organizations.

On a personal level, I had the chance to finally visit my family back home after 3 years which was fairly good except thatt I contracted heavy duty COVID during my trip which knocked me down pretty well.

For the rest of the year, in addition to volunteering with various organizations in different capacities, I am delivering couple of webinars of which one is for the PMI Minnesota Chapter about Hybrid Project Management.

Looking forward to hearing the journey of my fellow colleagues.

As usual, you set a high bar!

Given my journey to early retirement, it has been a quiet year. I attained my DAC and DAVSC certifications, kept up with my weekly blogging although I may reduce my writing frequency going forward, did a few webinar presentations on psychological safety and Disciplined Agile and will be presenting at ProjectWorld Toronto (in person!) in early October.

The big change for me in the second half of the year has been my decision to run for city council. If I am successful, I'd expect that work will consume a fair bit of my time over the next four years.

I remember when I wanted to apply years ago, the application was very long especially for those of us who received their bachelors overseas. Good luck with your application.

Hello Rami,

I've completed both the CAPM and PMP certification this year, and plan on starting my first steps to obtaining my CMPICM certification, aka my Masters of Configuration Management.

I also left my job of 12 years for a new opportunity. I'm still working in the Canadian Defense Industry, but on ships not yet built, rather than ones currently in service.

Jessica

Great achievements, CONGRATULATIONS and best of luck with your CMPICM Certification and with your new job.

If I may ask, I am curious as to what made you decide to do both CAPM and PMP in the same year. It looks like you did qualify for the PMP to start with, so why did you decide to do both?
