I did an "introvert" search, and most of the results seemed to focus on PMs who aren't outgoing or who might be defined as "shy."
I'm referring to the narrow definition as those of us who are worn out by interacting with others and need time to recharge.
This means that I can write the emails, do the meetings, have the hard conversations, but by the end of the day, I am completely wiped out. I feel like I need a few days to recover, but we all know it doesn't work like that.
Are there any of you who recognize that you are introverted in the same sense described, and what do you do to manage?

Introvert or extrovert or even hybrid, you need the physical to balance the mental. I don't mean a stroll to the coffee station, I mean meaningful physical activity - of your choice. Many of the enlightened start-ups are incorporating in-house gyms, gym memberships, etc., for good reason - physical activity enhances mental performance. Many of my better decisions got their start on the track, the bike, the road, lifting weights. Saving Changes...

As a few others also stated limiting the back to back meetings can make a big difference as well as deep breathing exercises or meditation.
Taking those mental and physical breaks are essential to getting your energy recharged.
I really love doing yoga and even a 10 minute session helps your mood. Saving Changes...

As an introvert myself, what i find helpful is knowing what to give my energy to. I try not to get sucked into interactions that are not necessary and empower others in the team to move things forward.
I also find that giving myself time to internalize what is required and not jumping into it as it arises.
I also agree with Bruce, taking short breaks and spending them by myself helps. Saving Changes...
