Hi
I just wrote the PMP for the first time this past week and just missed it according to the criteria.
That being said I have looed at the exam analysis where it points the Domains and Tasks. Is there any detailed guide to page locations offhand for quicker access to recap my studying needs.

Also one last quick question has anyone purchased the PMP Study Hall, and if so how good is it

One guide to study for the exam is the content outline document. It will guide you on the percentage of questions which are part of the exam related to each domain and task.

Good Morning Mike,

You should be able to receive a more detailed exam outline on your PMI account, which will breakdown which areas you need to focus on, based on the exam content outline.

Sorry to hear that!
You should study PMBOK several times. You also need resources like Rita's prep. book.

sorry to hear, one tips i ever used that took a look in youtube (but not too old date). they shared a lot of techniques such as
1. you should answer each questions around 1-1.2 mins
2. buffer with 10 mins. in order to recheck your answers

Have a good lucks

Hi Mike!

Sorry to hear about the exam.

If you have the option, do purchase the PMP Study Hall. It's a fantastic tool! It helped me a great deal in my prep, and pass the exam on the first attempt. Read through the PMBOK and Rita's study guide as well. Good Luck!

Sorry to hear that, but don't get discouraged, I am sure you will do great in your next attempt.

I highly recommend you practice simulation exams. A good resource is PM PrepCast. There are exams broken down per knowledge area so you can focus your practice on areas where you scored lowest. Make sure you read all answers and rationale as this is were you will get maximum learnin.

Good Luck.

You may feel a bit disappointed but now you have a better idea of what to expect on your next try.

I agree with Rami: simulation exams are the best way to gauge your readiness. Once you start getting 80% and up on those exams, you're ready for prime time!
