By far the most common will be MS Office applications. They cover most business functions so they apply in virtually any course.
Excel particularly is used in a lot of PM and business school classes and has some excellent capabilities, especially once you learn some of the many built-in functions, with add-ins like Solver for math, and by creating macros. Even at the post-grad level, that is a powerful tool.
Using Google Docs can be very useful. You can collaborate real-time on group papers, and even see your teammates typing away.
