Is Monday.com as useful as advertised?

I was hoping to get some opinions on Monday.com from those who have had an opportunity to use this tool. There are multiple options and I have just set up the individual account to dabble a bit. Any feedback on benefits and pitfalls experienced on the other available tiers is greatly appreciated!

Have you checked the Package Selection discussion forum? You may find others who implemented monday.com.

Do understand that everyone uses a tools with different goals in mind. What works for you may not work for another project manager, and vice versa.

I have not used it yet. I heard both good & bad things about it. I think it depends on your needs, method, and approach to using it and of course its features.

I doubt that anything is as useful as advertised. If they claim benefits, it is a list of benefits from different users, and not a single one would have them all.

There are many useful tools out there, but remember a fool with a tool still is a fool. I have not seen a tool running as expected from the start, as there are always adaptions, interfaces, duplications etc. And stakeholder engagement is often neglected.

The last PPM implementation I witnessed was cancelled after 1.5 million Euros. And all were good tools.

As to monday.com, I have not looked at it in depth.

I've used it. It's OKAY but you'll need to get the full version to get the best results.
