How do we help the Sponsor to see the same picture as the Client? Once a scope has been revised? The obvious is communication but does anyone have any specific examples?

Thanks,
Rob

If I understood clearly, the scope if in draft stages it gets revised with sponsor involvement, they are the ones who are actually sponsoring the project! get input from your sponsor and other key people to ensure everyone is seeing the whole picture. Involvement at this stage is crucial rather than merely communication.

I agree with your statement. However, how about scope management, once the project is running and one has to communicate scope changes...

For smaller changes, you may consolidate and report out the delta in the weekly project update email. For larger changes, you probably need to hold a project status meeting to run through the changes with all the stakeholders.
