Salesforce as a Project Management Tool?

Does anyone have experience using Salesforce as a project management tool, in lieu of a product like monday.com, Smartsheets, or MS Project? I'd love some candid feedback.

While I haven't used Salesforce, I understand it is a customer relationship management (CRM) tool. CRM tools are great for your project stakeholder register. Using CRM for project management might be like using a hammer for a screw.
