I am using PMI® Authorized Online PMP® Practice Exam to prepare for my PMP exam and noticed 60-75% of the questions are agile based and am concerned perhaps the practice exam has already been updated to V7. Please confirm. Also, has the PMP exam been updated to V7 of the PMBOK guide?

Dianne -

There is no single source for the exam items on the PMP exam. The Sixth edition of the PMBOK Guide and the Agile Practice Guide are both sources as are a number of other references. And yes, over time there will start to be questions stemming from the Seventh edition.

I totally agree with Kiron and from what I've heard from candidates, more than 50% of the exam is Agile related.

You should review both PMBOK 6th and PMBOK 7th editions. Also, I recommend Rita Mulcahy's certification prep, it's a good option to acquire PM Knowledge at your own pace, and is updated to the latest exam. Visit this link:

Read PMBOK 6, 7, and the Agile Practice Guide. I personally found 7 and the Agile Practice Guide to be more beneficial than 6, but you shouldn't ignore 6 completely.

I found the bulk of my exam was Agile/Hybrid related, so it is important to understand Agile principles.
