Have you heard of the PMO Leader of the Year Award
for 2011
..?
Nominations need to be entered by March 31, 2012.
The PMO Leader of the Award will be presented to the PMO Leader, nominated by their PMO team, who shows the most excellent leadership and understanding of what a PMO can deliver to a business. A panel of independent judges will review all submissions to consider how each nominee has led their PMO over at least the last 12 months and how they plan to grow the PMO under their stewardship in the coming months. I will be serving on the panel of judges and I hope you all will nominate your PMO Leaders. What is particularly nice is that the award is not based upon having the biggest or most mature PMO (per size of team, tools, and best practices, etc.), rather having a PMO that delivers to the business. Check out the guidelines. I hope you will consider particpating..!
