I've postponed my CAPM test out to May due to the uncertainty of what tests will be offered this year. Am I correct that it will be the new test, PMBOK Seventh Edition in May?

They are advising early 2023 so May "should" be the new exam, but PMI has pushed exam changes out in the past if they don't feel comfortable that the new version is ready for the mainstream.

BTW, it won't just be based on the PMBOK Guide, Seventh Edition as PMI exams are always based on the Exam Content Outlines and the following reference document cross-references content in the ECO to multiple references: https://www.pmi.org/-/media/pmi/documents/...38-066bdc3e8bc2

I agree with Kiron. You definitely need to go through the 6th edition as well - Follow the ECO, this is your guide and will give you an idea of the domains / tasks covered.
