On a personal and professional level, what did you achieve in 2022 and what is your plan for 2023?

It's always nice to get to know each other and it helps motivate on another.

I will kick this off. On a professional level, in 2022 I achieved the following:

- Completed a few PMI Courses and Micro-Credentials related to construction which were very valuable.

- Completed Value Stream Management Micro-Credential and course offered by PMI.

- Earned the PMO Certified Consultant (PMO-CC) credential by PMO Global Alliance.

- Participated in a few expert panels and podcasts.

- Published Couple of Articles.

- Delivered two webinars, one for PMI Minnesota Chapter and another for PMI Utah Chapter.

- Named by the LeadersHum as one the TOP 100 Global Project Management and Agile Leaders.

- Participated as a Judge in the 2022 PMO Global Awards.

- Participated in few volunteering opportunities with different organizations.

On a personal level, I had the chance to finally visit my family back home after 3 years which was fairly good and had a surgery which I have been waiting for for more than a year.

For 2023, I am planning to do professional development in Sustainability and Green Buildings, continue volunteering, and concentrate on speaking events.

Looking forward to hearing the journey of my fellow colleagues.

Rami -

1. In April I attained what will be my last couple of delivery credentials - the DAC and DAVSC

2. I continued to give back to the profession through multiple virtual presentations and an in-person presentation at ProjectWorld Toronto. I continue to be a volunteer community moderator for PMI's LinkedIn Project, Program and Portfolio discussion group and mentored a few PM learners (virtually).

3. While I didn't get elected, I am happy with my big project of the year which was my first foray into municipal politics. I was able to apply PM skills to this project and wrote a few blog articles on it.

4. Finally, as per my latest article, I'm happy to have augmented my DIY skills by learning how to do wall tiling!

Nothing planned for 2023 yet other than my first international trip since the start of the pandemic. Looking forward to enjoying the sights, sounds, food & drink of Portugal in May and hopefully will be able to share a coffee, glass of port or a ginjinha IRL with Luis & Alexandre during the trip.

This is amazing, thank you for sharing.

You should run again next year for municipal elections, as those guys don't know what they are missing. You will make an outstanding candidate.

Wall and floor tiling is an art, it requires good workmanship skills so I am sure you will do well on your next tiling project.

Regarding your trip, you should take a picture if you end up meeting with Luis and Alexandre. I am curious, why did you chose Portugal as your first international trip? I've never been there so I don't know much other than the legend Cristiano Ronaldo.

Thanks Rami!

I'm a foodie and both my wife and I wanted our next trip abroad to be in Europe and Portugal was the right fit time-wise for us. Between the architecture, food & drink, it'll be a fun trip!

Thanks, Rami.

I thought I could use another pension for my retirement. I am looking forward to being pain free!

I trust your surgery was a complete success?

All the best for the Holiday season,
