Existential Risk

Anyone interested in setting up a PMI community focused on project management related to existential risk (e.g. climate, AI, nuclear, etc.)?

Wouldn't these just fall into the realm of business risks as they affect companies & whole societies beyond just the boundaries of a project?

That said, there is certainly merit in exploring the realm of emerging risk categories - those which are going from the hypothetical (low probability, higher impact) to probable.

We could have great discussions and debates about risks to our very existence. I suspect, however, it would have modest application to our professional work. Unless, that is, you are an enterprise risk manager.
