Oracle Primavera tends to be the "go to" solution used by many large construction engineering firms.

I have been exposed to Primavera over the years from its early development to later updates. I agree with Kiron that it's the 'go-to' but I hear (no experience) that BIM 360 is also highly rated.
However, in my experience that issue is not so much the limitation of the software but its users. It takes a certain level of commitment and discipline, not to mention skill, to fully implement these programs. I would hazard that most companies don't take advantage of the extensive capabilities available.
I would suggest you consider external support (consultant) to establish your needs, select an appropriate program and implement. Saving Changes...

Thanks Kiron and Peter for your quick response. Yes, Primavera is always the best project Management software for integrated project Planning at project, program and enterprise level. However having an established project management system (PMS) which take care of various aspects of project management function including initiation , planning , executing , controlling and monitoring the scope, time , cost, risk, quality , HSE and others . Let me explore BIM 360 something new to me. Thanks a lot. Saving Changes...
There are several. Primavera, Open Plan, Monday.com, Smartsheet, etc. The real question is what kind of capabilities you need.
I'm most familiar using Primavera for integrated schedules on projects involving 10's of thousands of events in a manufacturing environment. Other PM functions that don't require that level of computing muscle can be done in parallel using simpler tools at a fraction of the cost. Saving Changes...

Spider Project is much more functional than P6. It was used in many large scale projects including oil&gas, construction, aerospace, ship building and all other industries. If you don't need to use P6 by the contract requirements I suggest to look at Spider Project capabilities. Demo version can be downloaded from http://www.spiderproject.com/index.php/spiderproject/spiderdemo. Let me know if you will have any questions. Saving Changes...
