Hello, I would like to improve the process part to prepare my PMP certification. Do you have some feedback to give me of do you know coaches to help people preparing their PMP certification?

Thank you

Hi Therese,
I wish you the best of luck with your pursuit. Really, my two-cent advice would be to learn from multiple sources. For instance, perhaps learn from a Udemy course such as Joseph Phillips PMP Exam Prep Seminar - Complete Exam Coverage with 35 PDUs, there are mobile apps like PMP Exam Prep, get a study partner and challenge each other with questions. I bet there are even online PMP study MeetUps.
I did the Udemy course a while back and I found that it helped to frame what I needed to know for the exam and then just study from multiple sources. Honestly, I didn't find the exam to be difficult although I was probably overly prepared. A key thing I would say is that I could certainly see amazing real-world PMs failing the PMP as it is such a specific test that focuses on its own vernacular and details when being a PM in real life is much more about communication, problem-solving, and levering software. In other words, know that the PMP exam is esoteric and plan accordingly. Bonne Chance!

Therese -

I'd suggest trying a number of high quality practice exams assuming you have taken a prep course OR have a good quality self-study guide. The more you practice, the more you will get a sense as to the way in which questions are structured and your speed will also increase which is critical so that you have sufficient time to go back and review questions you were unsure of on the first pass.

Good luck!

I agree with Kiron. Mock exams and practice questions can help a lot!

1) For courses: I recommend Jospeh Philips - You can find some of his courses on Udemy.

2) For study material: Study the 6th edition including the Agile extension, read through the 7th and use Rita Mulcahy exam prep book as an additional resource.

3) For simulation exams: I recommend PM PrepCast - Very solid simulation exams to prepare you for the real exam.

Good Luck!

I recommend Rita Mulcahy's certification prep, it's a good option to acquire PM Knowledge at your own pace, and is updated to the latest exam. Visit this link:
