I have my PMP and am considering the other PMI certificates to expand on my current knowledge/experience.
Do the following certificates expand on their specific areas or are these the same topics that were mentioned while studying for the PMP?
Are these worth pursuing if I already have my PMP?
PMI-PBA or PMI-RMP are certifications to expand your knowledge of Business Analysis and Risk Management respectively. The topics mentioned in PMP certifications are presented in a wide and complete form, to acquire specialized knowledge of the area.

Does the PMI-PBA or PMI-RMP training go into new information that is not covered during PMP training?

Karrie, yes, they cover new and different topics and expand much more on what is in the PMBOK related to these topics.
If you want to learn something new, a certification might provide some of that, but not as much as a non-certification related course as the learning objectives are different for each endeavor.
So it comes down to what is more important - learning something new or attaining a credential.
If you do still want to pursue a certification, I would say that the RMP does go deeper into the knowledge area and looks at risk from multiple perspectives (portfolio, program and project) compared to what you'd see for the PMP. As business analysis is really not covered by the PMP to any great detail, the PBA would go much deeper.
But make sure that the one-time and ongoing costs of additional certification is giving you sufficient benefit before proceeding.
Generally speaking, I would say the job market can answer this question. Saving Changes...

I think it depends on where you want to take your career next. It would be worthwhile to pursue certifications to get to the direction you'd like to go with your career. I know several people who have multiple certifications, and they have mixed opinions/experiences with how they got (or didn't get) value from their certificaiton. I have heard lots of value from the PMI-ACP Saving Changes...
The knowledge of Project Management is vast, and among all the PMI certifications that I have obtained, including Project Management Professional (PMP)®, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)®, PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)®, and PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)®, I would say PMP is like general and fundamental knowledge that a professional project manager should have, while the other PMI certificates delve deeper into specific areas.
Personally, I have learned a lot along the certification journey. There are many things you can learn and apply, but without validation, we won't know how much we truly understand. Certification not only expands your knowledge but also validates it, providing recognition and credentials to the person who holds it. Saving Changes...
