Anyone have a decent template or advice for using Excel as a PM repository? Trying to solve a business challenge with something the client has and knows.
Any help would be great! Saving Changes...

Hi, Alan.
I’m with Easy Projects .NET (http://www.easyprojects.net) and I think our product might be a good fit for you (of course I’m biased :)
Let me know if you have any questions.
I’d be happy to help.

Hi Alan, when you state "using Excel as a PM repository", can you provide some details as to what you are looking to capture in Excel? Tasks, pivot charting, etc.? Saving Changes...

@ Tim,
Imagine one spreadsheet per project, with tabs for each PM deliverable (Charter, Risk Plan, Communication Plan, etc.

@ Olga,
Thanks for the suggestion - your product does look cool, but . . .
My client plans to implement a PPM took in the next 12 - 18 months and needs a stop gap method that allows for a data conversion into the new PPM.
One option on the table is "How about a spreadsheet per project . . ." That is what I am trying to wrap my brain around.
PS This is a large and mature corporation (just not so much in project/program management) Saving Changes...
