There's lots of buzz around the AI use in project management, As per Gartner report of June 2019, probably 80 percent of the tasks that are still performed by project managers today can already be carried out by artificial intelligence.

Do we need to have a chapter on AI with Project Management?

We talk about AI, Power BI, and ChatGPT, Data Analytics and how they influence Project Management. Is it possible to update PMBOK to include these tools, how to apply them in our projects, and their Pros and Cons? Will the use of these tools have cost savings and at the same time improved productivity?

One of the things I like about the new PMI-CP Construction related credential, is that almost all those new technologies are mentioned in details along with the advantages of using them and how to use them on Construction Projects.

The article provided and the 80% by 2030 figure reads like a sales pitch to investors. It's an article about Gartner, written by Gartner, advertising the future tools of Garner. It's like Salesforce creating a *documentary* on streaming media (Shift) about disruptive technology which is really paid advertising for their products and consulting.

It explains that user interfaces like speech recognition and VR will replace actions traditionally using a keyboard and mouse. That's not replacing a PM, merely the tools used.
Agree Keith.

Would add that projects are impossible without humans, on the executing side and the receiving end.
