I am a PMP and intend to be a Prince2 practitioner in 2012. I have a few questions regarding Prince2.
1. Is it mandatory to take a Prince2 training from an accredited institute for taking the a) Prince2 foundation b) Prince2 practitioner exam?
2. If the training can be skipped how can we setup for the exams?
3) Can there be a gap between foundation and practioner exam?If yes, by max how much?
I will be greatful if someone can answer these.
Thanks,
Shamik Mondal, PMP. Saving Changes...

Hello Shamik
You must take the PRINCE2 exams at an accredited institution. There are plenty of places that offer the exam.
You can take the exam by itself without taking the course. You can see more information about places who deliver the course here: http://www.apmg-international.com/APMG-UK/...RINCE2Home.aspx There does not need to be a gap between the foundation and practitioner exams. Typically you sit the foundation exam on the Wednesday and the practitioner on the Friday. If you do want to space out your exams, you can take the foundation at any point and then leave it as long as you want before you take practitioner. The foundation exam does not expire. Check with the training institution.
