I studied and received my PMI-SP in 2015. In early 2020 I decided to go after my PMP. I was approved by PMI that I was eligible to take the test and I begin studying. My goal was to take the test before the changes were implemented in 2021. Well then COVID happened, family matters, new job, relocation, etc. etc. etc. and my approval expired. I want to get back on the "horse" so to speak and finally acquire my PMP this year. For some reason I have developed extreme test phobia and am going to try and push through that. I have been reading advice on here and my study plan is as follows:
1. Read PMBOK 6 edition (I already own)
2. Read PMBOX 7 edition (need to purchase)
3. Purchase and go through Rita Mulchay's PMP Exam Prep
4. Use Simulator Package through PM Prep Cast.

My question separate from my planned learning are they still allowing online testing? When I took my PMI-SP I lived in the states and went to a testing center. Now I am living in a country where there is no testing center. I know during COVID they moved to online testing. Is that still available? I guess I am scared to sign up & actually schedule the test to even find out until I get some studying under my belt. I do not know why I am so terrified of this test.

Natasha, nothing will guarantee your success if you didn’t study good enough and had a deep understanding of all concepts. PrepCast is a good reassure but won’t guarantee your success.

Are you still eligible? Your online training can be only 1 year old, then you need to do it again.
And personally I cant recommend anything better than Andrew Ramdayal course, I found it far more useful than Rita.
Miriama, this is the first time I hear that your training must be one year old. Did PMI recently introduce this 1 Year limit? If so, can you please let us know where they mention this on their website. Thanks!
