Hello,
Does anyone know if the online course, "Introduction to Project Management" can be taken in place of the "Project Management Basics" course to prep for the CAPM certification and obtain the 23 PDUs/educational hours that are required?

The Project Management Basics course is no longer available when I tried to add it to my cart for payment.

Please advise.

This is a bit odd as I haven't heard that this course is going to be discontinued. Maybe they are updating it or there is a glitch in the system. I noticed when I click on it, it gives an error so I suggest you email customer service about this.

The "Introduction to Project Management" course will provide you with the necessary 23 PDUs to apply for the exam so I wouldn't worry about the PDUs but my concern is that I am not sure if it will prepare as good as the other original course would.

Those are my 2 cents.

Hello Sonja - I navigated to https://www.pmi.org/certifications/certified-associate-capm and found the course link in the middle of the page. It opened for me and allowed me to add to cart. Please let me know if this works for you. Many thanks!

It seems weird to me. Your best bet is to contact PMI.
