Hello, for my master thesis I need to compare online collaboration tools, as Miro, Slack... which are the best ones for project teams working remotely? Which ones do you use the most? Thank you so much for you answers.

Microsoft has done a great job with MS Teams. In my view, there are a lot of functionalities for remote project management. For example, an app called Planner can be used as a Kanban or Scrum board (or a "Scrumban"). Office 365 + Sharepoint provide a wide variety of features for that purpose.

MS Teams and Miro are my top two choices.

In addition to PM specific tools, I have found the Google Docs suite very useful due to the ability for multiple people to work on the same document at the same time rather than trying to combine everyone's edits or having to check them out out and back in.

MS Teams, Trello, Jira, Monday.com, and for Software Development the best is GitHub.

Microsoft 365 integrates nicely with Teams, allowing for full collaboration through OneDrive.

Zoom is catching up with the addition of a white board for paying customer. For about $200 a year, a Zoom subscriber can add VOIP service that covers the North America.

Teams ,Jira, Confluence but it does depend on your application. I think in the end you will end up with a group of tools that meet specific needs.

My advice is before you start looking for tools you should take some time to define and understand how you want to work. Once that is clear then look for tools that match those needs.

I used the Microsoft Suite: Azure DevOps and all related collaborations tools like Teams, MS 365, etc. Just because my previous work place has agreements with Microsoft.
