Hello everyone,
I am seeking advice on how to claim PDUs for the reading books that have helped me enhance my project management knowledge:
• Reading books such as SAP Activate Project Manager and Activate: Project Management for SAP S/4HANA
• Passing the SAP Certified Associate - SAP Activate Project Manager exam
I would appreciate it if someone could guide me on the number of PDUs I can claim for these activities and if it is a time-consuming process.
Thank you. Saving Changes...
You are eligible to claim one PDU per hour of reading the PM-specific portions of books (i.e. if it is a technical book, only the PM-relevant chapters should count).
As evidence, you should have some type of notes or journal of what you have learned or taken away from the book in case your PDU submission gets challenged by PMI.
You can submit your book reading as Education PDU. As Kiron mentioned, you should create documentation that probes the content you have learned. Saving Changes...
Potentially, yes you can. However, as mentioned by Kiron and Veronica, you may need some kind of evidence. Saving Changes...

I choose not to report my project management reading. That's because I get enough PDUs from other activities that are easier to report and support. Saving Changes...
