I'd expect there's a really big gap between the PMP and ANY other PMI credential. Once the PMP has been attained the focus normally shifts to credentials related to the domain one is managing projects in.
I'd assume it would be the PMI-ACP given the continued volume of companies adopting adaptive methods and the long tenure of that credential.

Surely after PMI-PMP first one is PMI-ACP followed by CAPM, that practioners follow most.
Just looking at my chapter, PMP is followed by PMI-ACP and then CAPM. Saving Changes...

Linda,
Given you job is in operations, it may not make sense for you to do Agile or CAPM though it is second sought after certification wise. What you choose must be in alignment with your work and must add value. In that sense the BVOP (what you are thinking about) or any other operations certificate is of more value to you.
An operations executive must have skills in the following areas : Operations Management, Operations Strategy, Forecasting, Inventory, Scheduling, Capacity Management, Resource Requirements, Planning, and Metrics. In addition, Japanese philosophy of work like Toyota production systems, JIT, Kaizen, Kanban, 6S, Lean etc. is what you may want to learn and focus on for Operations related work.
Hope it clarifies. Saving Changes...

Thank you all for your advice and contribution. My official job title is Operations Manager but I also head up the PMO. I have been thinking of Agile-something as we tend to follow a hybrid approach. I am considering PMIs Agile Hybrid Project Pro or else the Business Value-Oriented Principles (BVOP) Certified Program Director. I am unsure about BVOP though, as I've not really heard about this before stumbling upon it in a forum. Saving Changes...
Apart from PMI, the most widely recognized is probably Prince2 in England, western Europe, and Australia. There are some others, like Certified Project Director, Project+, and Certified Project Manager but the job postings I see generally specify PMI or equivalent so "or equivalent" is not as likely to be broadly known.

Hi Linda,
The PMO is ever changing with its practices and thinking. Now the PMP exams is hybrid as well and covers both waterfall and Agile and other methodologies. In fact waterfall is around only 40 percent that is asked in exams.
Since you already head the PMO, I don't see the necessity of getting a PMI-ACP certificate but you can update yourself reading Agile, Scrum and other relevant books
But since your official title is Operations Manager, to me it looks like they have given you a bigger responsibility and like I said, you have to focus more on strategic initiatives required for the continuous work flow end to end with out interruptions or minimal interruptions.
PS : Always, it is easier to get back into the earlier hat that we worn or the comfort zone. Unless your job title is just saying that and you are only responsible for project manager job. In fact, my case is the other way around, I am a project manager engineering (officially) but actually playing the role of a program manager (end to end execution with added responsibilities.)
In the end, this is just my opinion but what you want to do is left to you since you are your own best judge.

Professional development is not one-size-fits-all so instead of going after the most sought credentials, I suggest you concentrate on credentials that do compliment you career path and goals.
Given what you’ve mentioned, I believe getting a Business Analysis certificate such as the CBAP from IIBA would add lots of value to you. In your role, having business analysis skills and knowledge is as important as your project management skills so both together is a great recipe for success.
Following that, you can also check PMO Global Alliance, the do have couple of interesting PMO Credentials
Hope this helps.
