To be honest, I think you should have a full set of skills. depending on the issue, you may use a few of them or one or two more than the others.

They are all necessary, but it starts with self-awareness. Without that, you are unlikely to overcome your amygdala hijack of your behavior when something happens.

Anass,

I think the five key emotional intelligence competencies are intertwined and all are needed to excert influence on others, be it with conflict solution or stress reduction.

For myself, self-awareness and self-control are important to gain confidence, authenticity and resilience, looking at others, I need empathy to understand them and influence. Overall, self-motivation and energy are good to have.

Beyond emotional intelligence, there are 10 competencies that make up wisdom. If you develop your wisdom, you will be better able to handle any situation in life and projects.

In addition to what Kiron mentioned, I believe “Active Listening” makes the top of the list too. It is very important!

After self-awareness, interpersonal relationship skills have high importance. Empathy is very valuable in understanding other person's points of view.
