I immigrated back to the USA in Fall 2022 primarily to support my wife as she undertakes her master's degree in Minnesota. We previously lived in Dallas, Texas from 2011 to 2013 where I obtained my MBA and PMP. I am now looking to get back into the workforce within the project management field. I have signed up to multiple job sites and wish to compliment this with building personal contacts and leveraging these to enhance my chances. While there are some employers who have experience in providing sponsorship, I realize there are many which may not be familiar with the process and shy away from it, thus losing out on the benefit of getting highly qualified and experienced talent. As the US seeks to continually maintain its global economic leadership position, this may hopefully change.

Do job sites really work as they proclaim to?

I've had success with Indeed, in the past. When I've been looking, I've often found the listing on the job site and then applied directly through the company's website, where that was an option.
