Earn PDUs to renew PMP

Hello all, I would like to ask you to explain me:
to renew PMP Certification I need 60 PDUs or 35 PDUs
What means 35 required and 25 optional PDUs.
Can I renew my PMP only with 35 required PDUs?
Could anyone explain me this, please.

You need a total of 60 PDUs, every three years. A minimum of 35 of those PDUs need to be education-related. The category for the other 25 is optional, but they can also be education-related. The PMI website lists the categories.

You need 60 PDUs to maintain PMP. 35 of them must be educational. It means that out of those 60, you need at least 35 educational PDUs. The remaining 25 PDUs could be either educational or giving back. "Optional" refers to your choice between "giving back" or educational PDUs for the remaining 25 PDUs.
So, you can not renew your PMP with 35 PDUs.
