Online PMP Exam Checkin Issue

I have scheduled to take the exam online for my PMP certification and have tested my system multiple times and prepared a backup computer as well (both MacBook). On the day of the exam, however, the check in process kept failing at the step of uploading the government ID (Android Google Pixel phone). Every time I uploaded a picture, I get a message on my computer that the proctor has closed this session. I was able to re-schedule my exam, but I am worried about this technical issue, as I didn't get a clear response on what could be the root cause. Anyone had experience with this and is able to help?

My exam is next Friday and I want to be prepared and confident in my setup. I am currently in Canada and the alternative of going to an exam center is not feasible for me.

Thank you Rami for your comment, I have been in communication with Pearson and PMI. I have only received the general checklists, they don't have a technical support team to troubleshoot issues. I have emailed them again hoping for the best.

Agree with everyone. I recently sat for the exam so I'd add you should communicate with Pearson too as they're the proctor company. They have a couple instruction sets. I remember when checking in there were a couple options for getting them your ID and pictures. If you didn't want to use the phone, using your webcam was an option.

I hate asking for change. They always make a face. It's like asking them to donate a kidney.
