If I take PDU courses to apply to take the exam, how long are they good for before I sit for the exam?

I have colleagues interested in taking courses paid for by our company. I have been asked how long the credit hours will be valid for if they don't take the exam until much later. Does anyone know if it's one year, 18 months or 3 years?

There is currently no requirement for how recently courses must have been completed to qualify.

Teresa, I do agree with Keith. I am not aware of any time requirements but to be on the safe side I would say no later than 3 years as things might change in terms of regulations.

Teresa, I dont have an answer but will say this. I had an expired PMP when I joined the PMXPO this past March (2023). I participated everyday completing all goals/achievements given for participating each day. It stated I would automatically get PDUs but as yet nothing has shown. Fact is I just retook the PMP exam and passed this week. Not sure but perhaps I needed to have an active PMP to receive the PDUs back during the March PMXPO.
