I have a case where people have to manually register in and out their laptops daily. This results in queues and monotony and repetition. I want to automate this, how can Citizen Development help?

You can find a more efficient way. First, you need to choose your CD platform. Each platform has its own pros and cons.

1) What is the reason people are required to do so?

2) Can you elaborate more on how manually doing so creates queues?

Ok thanks. The reasons is to track Laptop entering and going out of the company.
As per the 2nd question, the security taking the laptop and staff details does so repeatedly everyday. He writes down staff name, ID no, dept., phone no, laptop make and serial no.He then issues a tally and takes note of the tally no.
The time taken to write these details especially at rush hour is the concern.
