I agree with this Kiron. A leader who is able to be a barrier and filter for the team to get the job done in the best ways.

Although, it is a challenge to balance this and collaboration.

I like a leader who says it as it is and encourages comments and suggestions from all levels.

In my first role, out of University, I was asked to have a meeting with the Chief Executive. Me and a colleague thought they were very special but we never forgot how down to earth and honest they were.

Really helped me to see them as someone who also needs help and different perspectives.
