New three years cycle to refresh PMP

Hello everyone, I would like to ask the following question, could you tell me please: If a 3-year PMP cycle requires earning 60 mandatory PDUs,
and I have already earned 60 PDUs but still have almost a year remaining where I could earn an additional 10-20 PDUs,
will these extra PDUs be carried over to the next 3-year cycle?
P.S and if I will do some course now, can I add PDUs at future
