Hello,

I would like to know where to find the proper tools (template) to perform a Project Management processes audit within an Organization? Is there some existing templates that you were already used and worth to use them?

Thank you for your collaboration

An audit is tied to the scope of control objectives you wish to evaluate. In my past, I've found a simple spreadsheet which listed the control objectives, the rationale for why they are important, examples of evidence which shows they were met, and then specific evidence or comments related to their existence or not was a good way to organize things. Once the audit was done, the findings would be harvested from that spreadsheet and reported (MS Word document or MS PowerPoint presentation) in a prioritized order with the risk related to each finding described in detail.

there are several standardised questionnaires for process audits and more specifically PM process audits, related to maturity models.

PMI offered in the past OPM3 which looked at project, program and portfolio management
Carnegie Mellon SEI created CMMI (not only for PM)
IPMA offers its Organisational Competence Baseline (IPMA OCB®)
Axelos in the UK offers P3M3

and the list goes on.

And Kiron is right: best would be if the organisation already had a base of process landscape to measure progress and maturity against.

I agree with Kiron. You better create your own.
Also, Thomas mentioned a few tools that can be used.
