Utilities - water cooling

Hello everyone,
Water usage is becoming a critical topic for industrial plants.
My focus is not on water used to manufacture the product itself but on the water used for cooling equipment of industrial plants. I am looking for updated best practices and any breakthrough of new technologies which can support our effort of water consumption decrease (new types of cooling towers, ...)
