AI is a broad term covering everything from assistance in formulating communications to providing decision support. Given that, a PM could theoretically leverage AI tools from the very start of the project - for example, helping them fine tune charter content for presentation to key stakeholders or leveraging a large data set of past projects to come up with a rough order of magnitude estimate on project cost or schedule.

AI can be applied everywhere in a project, just by asking a question and seeing the result. The problem is that problems are multi-faceted and the challenge is to give AI the complete picture to be able for it to determine a set of valid responses. The problem is from what I have seen and use ChatGPT is that is learns from sources that are heavily influenced by PMI, so you get standard answers out. The benefit is in the challenge of the responses and they for you to make sense of them in the context of your problem or requirement.
