This fall I am teaching a Project Management class at a local university. I am framing the class around the new CAPM requirements. However, I am stuck on Domain 1, Task 4. It includes as a primary bullet "Give examples of how it is appropriate to respond to a planned strategy or framework (e.g., communication, risk, etc.)." However, I have researched the PMBOK Guide and PM Answer Book references and nothing discusses "Planned Strategies and Frameworks". Can someone please enlighten me on what this bullet means. Thank you!

That is a pretty ambiguous enabler for sure! I'd assume it refers to the role of a PM in assessing or selecting a particular framework or strategy for either the project as a whole (e.g. choosing to use Scrum) or a specific aspect of the project, but to be sure I'd suggest reaching out to PMI customer support (https://www.pmi.org/about/contact) and hopefully they can route the request for clarification to the appropriate product manager that worked with Alpine Testing Solutions on the ECO.
