Hi everyone - Beginning 27 July 2023 PDU processing has been delayed. We understand that typically PDUs are processed within 48-72 hours, however, we're still within the 7-10 business day processing window.

We ask, unless it is absolutely necessary, please do not manually submit your PDUs, as this will only cause further delays within the PDU queue.

Our apologies for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience!

UPDATE:
8 August - The issue has been identified and PDUs should start processing tomorrow, Wednesday, 9 August. We have thousands of PDUs currently in queue, please allow time for the PDUs to process. We again apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience!

15 August - The backlog has been cleared!

Hi Heather, Its been almost 15 days for this issue. How long do we need to wait until PDUs show up on our Dashboard. Is there an ETA for the backlog PDUs to be processed. There are many PDUs not reflected on dashboard and my renewal date is fast approaching.
Hi Shriram - We just crossed the 10 business day mark and are now processing PDUs. There are hundreds of thousands of PDUs in queue, so it will take several days for the servers to process. Thank you for your patience!

Hi Heather, I hope you are doing well. Do you know what percentage has been processed? TY
Hi Monica - Unfortunately I do not, but they're processing at full capacity as of this morning. We hope to have the backlog processed within the next 5-7 days.

My deadline for renewal of PMP is Aug19th, and I have many PDUs not reported yet... if they're not reported by the system by then, can you keep my PMP status as "active" instead of "suspended"? I really don't want my certification to be shown as "suspended" due to this system outage. Thanks!
Sarah

Just to add to Heather's feedback, if you have your PDUs pending in the system, you have nothing to worry about even if the status of your PMP credential shows suspended. They will fix it after PDUs are reported.

I know of cases were people forgot to report their PDUs and the suspension period elapsed then they contacted PMI and they worked with them on regaining their credential. From my experience dealing with PMI, they are always there to help, not make your life more difficult so in your case, I wouldn't worry to much but to put your mind on ease, you can chat with customer service and see what they tell you. The chat feature is available on the PMI Website.

Good Luck.

I see some good news-- a sign of a fix! Several of my PDU's Awarded at https://www.projectmanagement.com/userInfo.cfm now show as "Processing" !! These are flagged in the order I took them, items from 7/28 to mid-day 8/4.

This is a great first step and a sign that something good is happening!
